Biography
Garabed (Garo), immigrated to the United States of America, at the age of 15 from Beirut, Lebanon. Garo graduated from Boston University, and became an entrepreneur at a young age. He established an accounting firm in Los Angeles, and became a full time expert in accounting and tax during the early 90’s.
After establishing himself as a staple in accounting amongst various communities within the San Fernando Valley, and downtown Los Angeles, Garo’s passion for learning and overachieving compelled him to become an attorney. After graduating from University of West Los Angeles School of Law, Garo passed the California Bar Exam and became a licensed attorney in 2005. His experience in accounting and his knowledge of the law, created the perfect recipe for him to excel as a tax attorney.
Garo specializes in tax law and assists clients navigate complex tax issues. His specialities include negotiating with the Internal Revenue Service, monitoring audits, advocating for and against liens and levies, as well as representing clients at various state franchise tax board hearings. Garo also assists clients with offshore account transfers and negotiations with the Internal Revenue Service to minimize penalties and provide optimum outcomes when it comes to transferring assets from foreign countries to the United States.
In his free time, Garo is a prominent figure and member of the Armenian community in Los Angeles. Enjoys spending time with him family, loves to walk his dog, has a passion for sports, especially American football and European soccer. He is a die hard fan of Liverpool Football club.
